CALAIS - Mildred "Millie" Hall, 97, died peacefully Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Atlantic Rehab. & Nursing Center, Calais. Millie was born May 17, 1911, in Alexander, daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Lounder) Hall, and grew up in Bailey, New Brunswick. She worked in the cotton mill in Milltown, New Brunswick, and then moved to Salem, Mass. Millie later retired to Calais. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Ross Hall, in 1994; and her sister, Ruth Lemire, in 1997. Millie is survived by her sister-in-law, Bernice Hall; her niece, Rosslyn Lannutti and her children, Anthony and Tonia Lannutti; and her nephew, Arthur Hall and his children, Michael and Jasmine Hall. Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Friday, June 13, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais, where a funeral service will begin 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be after at Calais Cemetery.
