Mildred "Millie" Farris September 28, 1937 ~ March 9, 2015 (age 77) It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Millie Farris which occurred on March 09, 2015. Millie is survived by her son; Jim Farris of Saint John and two daughters; Theresa Walton (Byron) of Rothesay and Belinda Farris (Bev) of Saint John. She is also survived by her two grandchildren; Scott and Angela and great grandchildren Jake and Naomi. Millie will be forever missed by her buddies; Murray, Mabel and Bob. Millie is predeceased by her brother James Connell and sister Mary McHugh. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland RD (646-2424). At Mom’s request, no visitation or funeral service will be held. “I am Strong, independent and lived life on my own terms. I’ve fought for my freedom, fought for my family and fought for my life. I won my freedom, won my family and fought death as long as I could with all that I had. Instead of passing away, I am passing on the best of me. I was something different to all of you. Take my strengths and use them to make you stronger, take my weaknesses and understand that I was not perfect. My heart was not on my sleeve, my true feelings were not always apparent, and my love was often expressed in many ways other than words. When I could not speak, my eyes told you how much I loved you.
