Mildred "Milk" Jones-Byrd, of 2900 E. North Street, died on Thursday, December 21, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital.Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Alma and Henry Jones.Survivors: daughters, Elonda Evette Byrd and Tawanna Shuntay Byrd; sons, Christopher (LaVette) Jones and Gerald (Jerri) Jones, all of Greenville; sisters, Sarah Ann Jones of Plainfield, N.J. and Lois (Thomas) Seaborn of Greenville; brothers, Henry Lee (Edna) Jones and Nathaniel Lee Jones, both of Greenville; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.Funeral Service: Friday, 1 p.m., at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.The family is at 23 Breckinridge Apartments (Pelham Road).
