Mildred Bailey, 80, formerly of Pinewood Ave. and widow of William Ira Bailey, died Sunday, March 17, 2002, at the N.H.C. of Clinton. She was born in Eatonton, Ga., and was the daughter of the late William McGinnis and Lula Mae Bagley. Mrs. Bailey was a former employee of Clinton Mills and was a member of the Lydia Baptist Church and member of the Eastern Star where she was the Past Worth Matron. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Judy Bailey of Clinton and Johnny "Skeet" Bailey of Clinton; a daughter Faye Bailey of Clinton; a sister, Onie Mae Cumbie of Good Water, Ala.; five grandchildren, Andrea Sims of Swanee, Ga., Jeff Bailey, Kit Bailey, Steve Bailey and Jason Bailey, all of Clinton and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home with interment in Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. - Gray Funeral Home of Clinton
