CORYDON ALLEN, MILDRED, 85, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Norton Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Louisville. She was born in Delina, TN on April 3, 1921, the daughter of Willie and Madeleen Beard Adams. She and her husband Andy owned and operated Andy Allen Service Station and Andy Allen Mobile Home Park and Sales in Corydon. She is a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon. She is survived by three sons, Terry Allen (Wanda) of Trinity, FL, Rick Allen (Cindy) of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Mick Allen (Chris) of Corydon, two daughters, Sharron Berry of Jeffersonville, IN and Pamela Doyle (Tim) of Greenwood, IN; one sister, Jewell Sampson of Corydon, IN; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Douglas Finney will officiate. Entombment will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation is 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to her church.
