LEE, Mildred Aileen - 1914 - 2010 Mildred passed away peacefully in her 97th year on Thursday, April 1, 2010. She was a loving and devoted wife of more than 60 years to the late Walter Elliot Lee. Dear mother to Robert and his wife Nadine, Richard and his wife Eileen and Connie and her husband Frank. She was a loving grandmother to Melissa, Jason, Meaghan, Monica, Adam, Michael and Jennifer and enriched their lives in many ways. She was also a great-grandmother of seven beautiful great-grandchildren. When once asked what one piece of advice she would give her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she stated 'I think kindness is the best virtue in the world and consideration for others.' Mildred based her life on that statement and always put others' needs ahead of her own. She may have forgotten some names and faces over the past few months, but never forgot how to laugh. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A special thanks to the staff at West Oak Village, Oakville, for their caring spirit, kind ways and wonderful care over the past six years. Interment and private family service will take place at Lovat Cemetery, Paisley. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
