Michelle Lack Wright, age 36, and infant daughter, Savannah Grace Wright, of Florence, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2005.Visitation was Monday, June 13, 6-9 p.m. at Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence. The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 14, 1 p.m. at Underwood Baptist Church, where she will lie in state from noon-1 p.m. Brother Donnie McDaniel will officiate. Interment will be in Rhodesville Methodist Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Jerome Risner, Michael Risner, Joe Irons, Allen Irons, Tom White and Jeff Woods.Honorary pallbearers will be Mitchel and Jordan Lack.Mrs. Wright was a native and lifelong resident of Lauderdale County and a member of Underwood Baptist Church, where she taught Pre-K classes and was a member of Underwood Baptist Church Choir.She was a 1987 graduate of Waterloo High School. She attended the University of Alabama where she played in the Million Dollar Band. She loved babies so much God took her precious daughter with her.Survivors include her husband, Jim L. Wright; parents, Willie Mae and Johnny Lack; brother, Jeff Lack and wife, Linda; nephews, Mitchel and Jordan Lack, all of Florence; father and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Martha Wright; aunts and uncles, Ben and Betty Lack (deceased), Ronnie and Doris Vaden, Hubert and Velma Vaden, Evelyn and Bobby Risner, Jimmy and Brenda Vaden, Mildred Hughes, Scott and Shirley Lack, Lillie Mae Wright, Ruth and Houston Lee, Wayne and Sandy Lack, Linda Ann and Jerry Barber; a number of cousins.Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence, is directing.
