Michelle J. Smith1970 - 2004 WEST SPRINGFIELD - Michelle J. Smith, 33, of Main St., West Springfield, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, in Sturbridge, MA, Born in Holyoke, September 11, 1970, she was the daughter of Eugene D. Smith and Debra (Dustin) Belisle. Michelle attended St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Ludlow, was a graduate of Holyoke High School, and a 1998 graduate of Springfield College where she was a Pre-Med major, and was a physician's assistant for Dr. Daniel Viders of Southbridge. Michelle played the drums and was in the band "Bad Magick". She is survived by her father, Eugene D. Smith, Jr., Agawam; her mother, Debra (Dustin) Belisle and her step-father Richard Belisle, Sr., Chicopee. Michelle will be greatly missed by the love of her life, Brian Markelonis of West Springfield. She also is survived by her brothers, Richard A. Belisle, Jr., Eugene D. Smith III of Chicopee; and a sister, Rebecca Gillman of Chicopee. Granddaughter of Doris Nichols of Ludlow, MA and Patricia Smith of Davie, FL. Michelle is also survived by many extended family members and friends. Funeral services Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 10 a.m. Rites of committal in Island Pond Cemetery.
