Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Father Hugh Chikawe, pastor of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. He received an AA degree from Hillsborough Community College. He joined the United States Navy where he served for 3 years. Michael was an entrepreneur and owned and operated Michael's Auto Detailing for a number of years. Preceded in death by son, Francis Alek Amadi-Davis; father, Alvin Cecil Davis Sr.; brother, Audley R. Davis; and his grandparents, Pink and Frances Davis, Arbie and Gladys Howard. He leaves a loving family to cherish his memories: his wife, Ifeyinwa Franca Amadi-Davis; three sons, Michael Williams, Noah Davis and Ikechukwu "Aik" Davis; two daughters, Vivica Davis-Saddler (Derrick) and Ifeyinwa "Ify" Davis; nine grandchildren; mother, Gloria Richadean Everett; brother, Alvin C. Davis (Diana), three sisters, Cynthia Ellison (Ellenwood, GA), Cheryl Glenn-Floyd, and Ceceilia Davis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 19, from 5-8 pm. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
