-><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Keefe, Michael W.Penfield: Mike died on Monday, January 12, 2015, at age 52 at his home after a heroic struggle with brain cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Meg Nardone Keefe; daughter, Lily; mother-in-law, Fran (Jim Bonanno) Nardone; sisters, Kathleen (Tom) Lechner and Meg (Terry) Donegan; sisters-in-law, Pat (Dan) Lee, Nancy Mastrantonio, Mary Beth (John) Westbrook, Terri (Andy) Nardone-Wise, Christine (Mark) Riccardi; brothers-in-law, Jim Nardone, Steve (Cindy) Nardone, John Nardone; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by parents, Bill and Dolores Keefe and brother-in-law, Larry Nardone. Mike was an alumnus of McQuaid Jesuit; he attended LeMoyne College (BA) & St. John Fisher College (MBA). An accomplished bassist, Mike played with many local bands; he was an avid boater, known for his love of the water. Certified as a Safety Professional (CSP), Mike taught as an Adjunct Professor at RIT. He worked for 10 years as Director of Safety at Birds Eye Foods prior to founding Reditus Safety Solutions in 2006. Friends may call Sunday, 2-5 PM at the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Road, Webster). A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 15 St. Mary's Place, Rochester. Private interment at a later date.
