Mr. Michael Stefanyk October 15, 1918 - February 9, 2009 On February 9th, 2009 Michael Stefanyk passed away peacefully in Edmonton at the age of 90. Michael is survived by his son John (Krystyna); grandchildren Michael (Karen), Brian, Adam and Brandin; daughter-in-law Anita, sister-in-law Kay Bernier; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Donna, son David, brother Walter and sister Mary. The family would like to thank the staff at Miller Crossing Care Centre. A Celebration of Life will be held at Howard & McBride Chapel of Chimes (10179 – 108 Street) on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (#1200, 8215 – 112 Street, Edmonton, AB T6G 2C8) or the Nature Conservancy of Canada (#830, 1202 Centre Street SE, Calgary, AB T2G 5A5).
