MICHAEL ROBERTELLIOTT, 30 LAKELAND - Michael Robert Elliott went to be with his Savior on June 25, 2011 due to multi system organ failure. He was born in Hollywood, FL on July 12, 1980. Mike graduated from Lake Gibson High School. He went on to play baseball at Florida Atlantic University, University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and Webber International University. He graduated from Webber International University Cum Laude with a degree in Finance. He also graduated from the police academy at Polk State College in 2003. He is survived by his wife, Natasha; son, Isaiah; parents, Rick and Edna Elliott; brother, Justin Elliott; maternal grandmother, Frances Light of Baltimore, MD; paternal grandmother, Donna Elliott; and countless, loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond Light; and paternal grandfather, Ker-mit Elliott. Mike loved baseball, golf, fishing, the stock market and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Above all, Mike lived his life serving his Lord and sharing the gospel to lead others to Christ. No matter what he endured, he considered himself blessed. Heaven got a great one! A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 7:00pm at Heritage Baptist Church, 4202 Pipkin Creek Road, Lakeland, FL.
