ANDERSON Michael Richard Anderson, age 22, of Shelton, left us suddenly on September 21, 2009. He is the beloved son of Keith A. and Linda Chapman Anderson; loving brother of Andrew and Mark Anderson; and grandson of June Chapman. He will also be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Eric and Carol Anderson; maternal grandfather, Richard S. Chapman; and aunt, Robin Lorraine Chapman. Michael was a 2004 graduate of Shelton High School and had attended Southern Connecticut State University. He graduated with high honors from the New England Technical electrician program. Since the age of 5, Michael was an avid soccer player and had played for the SHS boys soccer team for three years. He also served as an assistant coach. Michael was a free spirit and had a unique love of life and often regaled his family and many friends with his Fourth of July displays. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford with Rev. Cregg Gabor officiating. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
