THE COLONY, TEXAS- Michael Rex Jeffrey II, 24, passed away Sunday evening (February 20, 2011). Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today (Feb. 24) at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 25) at the First Baptist Church of The Colony, 4800 South Colony Blvd., The Colony, TX 75056-2207, (972) 625-1322. Michael was born on August 21, 1986 in South Bend, Ind. to Michael Rex Jeffrey and Christine M. Jeffrey. He married the love of his life, Jana Lanell Barton on September 1, 2007. Michael and Jana were expecting their first child in August. Michael loved life, riding his motorcycle and being a husband and expectant father. Michael is survived by his wife, Jana Jeffrey of The Colony, Texas; mother, Christine Jeffrey Robinson of The Colony, Texas; mother and father-in-law, Jane and Jim Barton of The Colony, Texas; grandparents, Mary and John Sherman of Seneca Castle; sisters: Michelle Jeffrey of The Colony, Texas, Stephanie Vines of Grand Rapids, Mich., Nicole Jasinski of Elkhart, Ind., PJ (Thomas) Hathaway of South Bend, Ind. and Erin (Dan) Gordon of Niles, Mich.; as well as many other relatives and friends.
