COLCHESTER, VT — Michael R. Morin, 62, of Colchester, Vt., died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, March 21, 2005, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt.He was born in Hanover, N.H., on April 1, 1942, the son of Gilles and Lucille (LaMotte) Morin.Michael graduated from Massena High School in 1960 and Oswego State University in 1969.He served his country in the U.S. Navy prior to becoming a high school teacher and coach in Colchester, Vt. For the last 12 years he was working as a general contractor in the Burlington area.He is survived by his two children, Eric Morin of Brunswick, Maine, and Jessica Morin of Colchester; and their mother, Susan Morin of Colchester; his parents, Gilles and Lucille Morin of Burlington; a sister, Carol Girardi and her husband Joseph of Peru, N.Y.; a brother, Greg Morin and his wife Peg of Chesapeake, Va.; two nieces, Johnna Willer and Jennifer Outen and their families of Peru, N.Y.; and by his close friend, Jean Bruno of Colchester.Visiting hours will be held today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Drive, Essex Junction.
