Michael Melillo, 68, of West Caldwell, N.J., passed away at home on Thursday, June 16, 2011. A Funeral Mass is Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius R.C. Church in Caldwell, N.J. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, N.J. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland, N.J. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Caldwell Knights of Columbus Council No. 2561. He was a beloved family man who devoted his life to his family. Michael was a member of the Centurions of St. Rocco Drum and Bugle Corps. He was also an avid bowler and a longtime notary public of the State of New Jersey. He was the beloved husband of Holly (Delgarno) Melillo; the devoted father to Michael Melillo Jr., and Laura Moore and her husband, Cliff; cherished grandfather of Amanda and Michael, and dear brother of Carmine and Frank.
