MCPHAIL, Michael February 23, 1948 - March 18, 2007 On Sunday, March 18, 2007 I held my husband, companion and best friend as he passed over. Sadly missed by a loving family who are grateful to have had him as part of our lives, although the journey was much too short. Michael had a year long fight with cancer and through it all never lost his sense of humour. Survived by his wife Anita, proud father to daughter Sheryl (Mark) Badham, son Stan (Therse) Ferguson, son Shawn Ferguson, daughter Leslie (Fernand) Guerette, step-daughter Beverly (Rob) Cornwall, step-son Sean (Alex) McKinnon, step-daughter Lisa (Dennis) Arseneau, sister Dawne (Albert) Korteweg, brother Alex (Gay) Sproule. Loving grandfather to Julie, Sebastion, Victoria, Christopher, Theran, Nicolas, Bradley and Melissa, great-grandfather to Aiden. We will hold him in our hearts forever. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2). Friends will be received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 3 pm, followed by cremation.
