SARATOGA Michael McKenna, 52, of Saratoga Springs, died on Monday, April 18, 2005 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, N.Y. on December 7, 1952, he was the son of the late John J. McKenna. He spent 17 years in the Army as a nurse. He was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany and El Paso, Texas. Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Rippert McKenna of Saratoga; his son, Sean McKenna of Latham; his daughter, Ora Ermold of Philadelphia; aunt, Jean Rippert of Saratoga; brother, John J. McKenna of Saratoga; sisters, Kathy McNally of Charlotte, N.C. and Susan Craig of Atlanta, Ga.; a granddaughter; a nephew and several nieces. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State Street, Schenectady, N.Y. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Schenectady. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
