Obituary of Michael-Llewellyn-Larsen Anderson

ANDERSON, Michael Llewellyn LarsenAge 70, passed away November 19, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was the daughter of Dr. Ralph Michael and Vee Allen Larsen. Michael is survived by her children, Alicia Sayle Anderson, William Joseph Anderson IV, Ralph Michael Larsen Anderson (Michelle) and Mollie Blair Anderson Schepman (Adam); grandchildren are Patricia Sayle Kennedy and Elena Jordan Hudson; great-grandchildren are Ava Grace Kennedy and Charlotte Ann Kennedy. Survived by sister, Mrs. BeBe Hogue of Franklin, TN; many beloved nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Mr. Fritz Vess. Preceded in death by sister, Mrs. Mary Eda Allen of Indianola, MS. Michael attended Harpeth Hall School and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. She was the personnel director of Pedco International Engineering Firm. She was a very talented artist and gardener. She gifted many with the fruits of her spirit through numerous volunteer efforts, including Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and the Lupus Foundation of America. She was a member of the Junior League, the Centennial Club of Nashville, and many garden clubs. Her precious spirit and smile blessed all who met her even through her prolonged illness. Michael was a devout member of Calvary Episcopal Church and an Associate of the Sisters of Saint Mary in Sewanee, TN. A Memorial Service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in Cordova, TN on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
