He was the beloved husband of Maureen (nee O'Beirne) Lia. Loving father of Michael Louis Lia IV, Matthew Vincent Lia and James Richard Lia. Devoted son of Joan (nee Kachel) Lia. Dear brother of Richard Lia, Gail Jambor and Barbara Heilig. Caring son-in-law of Vincent and Ann O'Beirne. Funeral from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 9AM and from Assumption Church, Wood-Ridge at 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Friday 2-4, 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the children's college funds.
