Mr. Michael LaTorre II, 59, of Nutley, N.J., formerly of Bloomfield, N.J., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at the home of his sister, surrounded by his loving family. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Ave., on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 8:15 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Nutley, at 9:30 a.m. The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Mr. LaTorre was born in Newark, N.J., and resided in Bloomfield before moving to Nutley. He was a U.S. Postal letter carrier in Jersey City, N.J., for 33 years. Through Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Newark, he became an Eagle Scout in 1972. Mr. LaTorre is survived by his beloved mother, Yolanda (nee Del Grosso) LaTorre; his devoted sister, Lenore Haring and her husband, James, and his loving nephews, Daniel and Matthew Haring. He is also survived by his many loving cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, William LaTorre.
