Michael Lee McCurry II, 26, of Florence, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Dec, and the funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, in the chapel of Morrison Funeral Home Florence/Central Heights. Mike Losey, Peter Avalon and Mark Trangsrud will be officiating, with burial following at Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, Lutts, Tenn.Mr. McCurry was a native of Florence, Ala. He was a tattoo artist and was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Sue Dawson, and grandfather, Lee Edward McCurry.Survivors include his parents, Michael Lee and Annette Dawson McCurry; son, Brandon James Cross, of Tampa, Fla.; sister, Rose McCurry, of Florence, Ala.; grandmother, Nannie McCurry, and grandfather, Willard Dawson; special friends, Meigan Williams, Michelle Cross, Kristen Nicke and Dewayne Brown.Pallbearers will be his friends.Morrison Funeral Home, Florence/Central Heights, is directing.
