Michael Keyes Utica Michael A. Keyes, Sr., 57, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012, unexpectedly, at his residence. He was born in Utica on July 26, 1955, the son of Howard and Eloise Smith Keyes, and attended local schools. On Dec. 20, 1976, he was married to Dorothy Biro in Utica. Mike was employed with Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare for many years, where he truly enjoyed working with and touching lives of his oncology and rehab patients. He loved the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was also a New York Yankee fan and enjoyed a good game of chess. His survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy Keyes; his son, Michael Keyes and his companion, Katie McDermot, and their children, Emilee, Michael and Cameron, of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, Wendy and Glenn Roback, and their children, James, Jennifer and Jaden, of New York Mills; a son, Dillon Keyes, of Utica; and many other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; a daughter, Angel Rose Keyes; and his brothers, Steven and Dennis Keyes.
