Michael K. Quinn II, 19, Bradenton, died June 27, 2003, in Iowa. He was born Jan. 7, 1984, in Bradenton and was a lifelong resident. He graduated in 2002 from Manatee High School where he was a three-year varsity wrestler and four-year varsity weightlifter. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Survivors include his parents, Jean E. Thorne of Tampa and Michael K. of Maxwell, Iowa; his stepfather, Wally Thorne of Bradenton; a stepsister, Emily Thorne of Bradenton; a stepbrother, Jay Thorne of Bradenton; and his maternal grandmother, Gloria Nichols of St. Petersburg. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 43rd Street Chapel. A service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Faith United Methodist Church.
