McFALLS Michael John "MJ", of Lincoln Park, unexpectedly left this earth far too soon on Thursday, December 4, 2014. During his twenty months of life, MJ made a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of his company. He loved life, people and all animals, especially his dog and best friend, Bentley. MJ was the happiest most beautiful son any parent could wish for and will always be remembered for his ever present smile. He loved any kind of truck, Thomas the Train and his most favorite character on Sesame Street, Elmo. MJ will be forever on the hearts and minds of all who knew him, most especially, his Moma and Dada. MJ is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Heather; his grandparents, John K. and Ellen Vajas and Mike and Bobbie McFalls; his godmother and aunt, Lara Vajas and his uncle, John Matthew Vajas. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment will immediately follow at the Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn. The family will receive visitors for a closed casket wake on Wednesday at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in MJ's memory to the Chilton Medical Center, Mother and Baby Center, 97 West Parkway, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 would be greatly appreciated by his family.
