Veteran WWII 65th Tank Transport Coy. RCASC (Retired - Smiths Construction) Peacefully at home while surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday evening, October 7th, 2003. Michael Henry Eugene "Mickey" McIntyre of Arnprior at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband and best friend for over 53 years of Viola Runtz. Cherished father of Mervin (Susan) of White Lake, Gary (Anne) of Sand Point, Stephen (Linda) of Niagara Falls and Michael (Susan) of Arnprior. Proud grandfather of Rebecca, Matthew, Mitchell, Ashley, Adam, Lisa, Derek and Gregory. Dear brother of Daisy Whyte (late Jack) of Arnprior and Marguerite Mills (Clarence) of Perth. Predeceased by a sister Edna Olynyk (late Nick). Mick will be fondly remembered by the Runtz family as well as his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the PILON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday morning, October 10th at 11 o'clock. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital would be most appreciated by the family. Dearly loved, dearly mourned, always remembered.
