December 2, 2004 Michael Burek III, 61, of Cicero, passed away December 2, 2004, in University Hospital. A native of Utica, he resided in Syracuse for many years. He was a graduate of Niagara University and served as a Lt. in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He wasemployed as a financial manager by Kaman Industrial Technology for 25 years. He is survived by two sons, Michael J. Burek of Skippack, PA, and Mark D. Burek of Fairport, NY; a daughter, Catherine A. Burek of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Lance Evan and Reese Burek; a sister, Marsha Kukowski of Utica; two nieces and a nephew. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Pirro & Sons Funeral Home.
