LEVY--Michael B. The lawyers and staff of the law firm Bryan Cave LLP mourn the passing of our dear friend and colleague Michael B. Levy, partner for over 30 years at Bryan Cave and our predecessor firm Robinson Silverman Pearce Aronsohn & Berman. A nationally prominent real estate and banking lawyer, Michael touched every constituency of the firm, lawyers and staff alike. He was a valued counselor to his many clients in the finest and most complete sense of that term. Michael was diagnosed with lung cancer seven years ago and given six months to live. Typical of his passion as a lawyer, he simply refused to surrender to his illness, showed consistent courage and determination and would not allow the disease to interfere with his career and life. His will to live was a source of enormous inspiration to his friends and colleagues. Michael was extraordinarily proud of the accomplishments of his two children - Stacey and Spencer - and was close to them both. He loved golf, his practice, his clients, his friends and life in all its parts. To be in his presence was never a passive experience, and we will miss him greatly. Funeral services will be held at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 West 76th Street, New York, NY 10023, at 11am on Sunday, November 1.
