-->Michael Anthony Davis MOORE, SC-- Michael Anthony Davis, 45, of 350 Nazareth Church Road, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 3, 1962, in Hamlet, NC, he was the son of Louise Smith Johnson and the late Douglas Elwood Davis. He was formerly employed at Leigh Fibers and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his mother, survivors are a daughter, Elizabeth Ghant, her husband Joey, and their daughter Tara Ghant, all of Boiling Springs, SC; two brothers, Stephen Davis of Moore, SC and George Davis of Woodruff, SC; two nieces, Suzanne Davis and Kerri Smith, both of Woodruff; a nephew, Jacob Davis of Spartanburg; stepfather, Ralph Allgood Johnson of Moore; and long-time friends Tony and Tina Williams of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Sunday, October 14, 2007, at the graveside at the Davis Family Cemetery. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the graveside, conducted by the Rev. Joe Dempsey. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, Attn: SRHS Foundation Office, 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home.
