John Michael Anderson (Mickey)1934 - 2011On September 28, 2011, at the age of 76, after a courageous struggle with Alzheimer and other illnesses. He is predeceased by his father Robert (Boo) Anderson and his mother Mary Phyllis (Torchy) (nee Cockburn) Anderson. He was a loving Dad to Michael, Jennifer, Christopher (Valerie), Shaun, Stefanie (Diane). He is survived also by six loving grandchildren and his brother Bob (Di). Mickey will be remembered for his kind, gentle nature, his sense of humor and love for his family. Friends and family are invited to visit the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White funeral home, visitation will be on Monday Oct.03,2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Grace Dart for their compassion and care while looking after Mickey. Contributions can be made in Mickey's memory to the charity of your choice. A private memorial service to be held at a later date.
