HOLT, Mernie Elizabeth (McKeen) nee Gould - Passed away at the Coleman Health Care Centre, Barrie, on Thursday, August 2, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Born August 26, 1916 to William and Annie Gould of Foresters Falls, Ontario. Beloved wife of Arthur John (Jack) Holt. Dear mother of Barry McKeen and his wife Pamela of Oakville. Step-mother of Susan Miko and her husband Alex of St. Marys, John Holt and his wife Bonnie of London and David Holt of Vancouver. Survived by dear brother Keith Gould and his wife Helen, formerly of Cobden, now Renfrew and sister Margaret Mackenzie and her husband Russell of Renfrew. Predeceased by sister Elta Connell. Mernie was a Registered Nurse working in occupational health for many years and in retirement a volunteer with the Red Cross. Mernie will be sorely missed by friends and family.
