MELISSA SUE WILLIAMS "MISSY" LOWELL, IN Melissa Sue "Missy" Williams, age 48, of Lowell, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at St. Anthony Medical Center. Missy is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jeffrey; daughter, Leah Williams; son, Travis Williams of Lowell; sister, Barbara (Dave) Clark of Winamac; niece, Andrea; nephews: Adam and Aaron; in-laws: Barbara and Phillip Williams; brother and sisters-in-law: Kevin (Marne) Williams, Jeannie (Mark) Grinder, Katie (David) Uran, Kari Williams, and Jennifer (Nick) Schenkel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved pet, Max. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Ilene Lehner. Missy was a 1982 graduate of Crown Point High School. She received her nursing degree from Purdue University and worked at Munster Community Hospital in the pediatrics ICU unit. Missy's greatest joy in life was her two children; and Jeff, her high school sweetheart. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre (two blocks east of Broadway) at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN with John Starr officiating. Interment will be German Methodist Cemetery in Cedar Lake, IN. In memory of Missy, memorials may be given to the family for her children's education.
