VALOIS, Maynard Charles Retired, Ottawa Hydro Peacefully in hospital with his family by his side after a long and courageous battle with illness, Maynard returned to the Lord on May 28. Beloved husband of Marilyn. Devoted and adored father of Megan. Pre-deceased by parents, Charles Emile and Justine and sister Lois. Will be missed by sisters Margaret, Valerie, Beverly and Colleen. Also survived by Debbie, Michael, Kim, Lyndsay, Morgan and Laura. Loved by all who knew him, he will be remembered from his involvement with the school board and community. At his request, there will be no visitation. Service will be held at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church on Saturday June 10, 2006 at 11 am. Special thanks to our neighbours, friends and the staff of the Ottawa General Hospital for their caring support during the past four years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation or the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.
