SALAMANCA - Mrs. May Anderson, 75, of Waite Avenue, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening (Sept. 3, 2014) at her home.Born on March 1, 1939, in Louisville, Ky., she was a daughter of the Late Benjamin and Rebecca Blakely McKim. She was married in Louisville to Mr. Clifford Anderson, who predeceased her Aug. 7, 1988.Mrs. Anderson was employed with her late husband's insurance company for over 10 years.She was a former member of the Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed arts and craft; playing solitaire; spending time with her family; and her dog, Penny.Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Roos of Las Vegas and Debra Horning of Salamanca; four grandchildren, Holly (Alex) Cote of Las Vegas, Scott (Grace) Gelser of Las Vegas, Nicole Horning of Salamanca and Brian "Buddy" Horning Jr. of Salamanca; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Nolan of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.There will be no visitation. Funeral services are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo.
