ANDERSON, May May was born in Watson, Saskatchewan on August 1, 1914 and passed away at the Glengarry Hospital on July 2, 2005. May was the third of five children born to Hansina and Andreas Anderson. In 1934 she married Ted Charles and they moved from Naicam, Saskatchewan to Valparaiso, Saskatchewan. May and Ted had seven children and later moved to Chilliwack, BC in 1952. May moved to Resthaven and later to Victoria where she resided in her own apartment until her recent illness which took her to the hospital on March 25, 2005. May was predeceased by her parents Andreas and Hansina, brothers Carl and Donald, sisters Mabel and Hilda, daughter Marie Penner, son-in-law Roy Brennan and granddaughter Jenny Gallant. She is survived by her sons Archie (Vivian) Charles, Ken (Faye) Charles and Don Charles, daughters Marg Brennan, ShirleyAnn (Larry) Gallant, Lee-Ann (Terry) Sparks, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-six greatgrandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 1:30 pm at the Victoria Seventh Day Adventist Church, 938 Pandora St, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association. 111171
