Braselton - Maxie Lee Carter, 86, of Braselton, GA died Jan. 25, 2005 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce. Burial will be in the Grey Hill Cemetery. Survivors include daughters, Kathy Thompson, Commerce, Debra Brock, Statham, Brenda Palmer, Braselton; son, David Carter, Winder; brother, John E. Carter, Jefferson; ten grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
