Funeral service for Maxcell Diane Smith, 42, Sheridan Avenue, Daytona Beach, who died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at Hospice of Volusia, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Community Church of God in Christ, 359 Jefferson Street, with Superintendent Elder Earl Kelly, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Calling hours are today, (Friday, Jan. 13) from 5 p.m until 9 p.m. at Herbert Thompson Funeral Home, Daytona Beach. Maxcell Diane Smith, daughter of Mack Smith (deceased) and Nellie Smith, Daytona Beach, was born July 7,1963, in Ocala and moved to Daytona Beach in 1978 from Dunnellon. She attended Spruce Creek High School and Daytona Beach Community College.
