Service Station OwnerLAKELAND -- Mr. Max O. Miller of Lakeland died of heart failure Saturday (Jan. 21, 2006) in Lakeland. He was 86.Born in Coshocton, Ohio, on Dec. 7, 1919, he came to Lakeland from London, Ohio, in 1975. He was the owner of a service station in Columbus, Ohio, and sold tools and equipment in Lakeland. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Lakeland.Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, Edna Miller, and caregiver, Gary Grubb, Excelsior Springs, Mo.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at David Russell Funeral Home, Lakeland. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Heritage Baptist Church in Lakeland. Burial will be in Lakeland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Baptist Church building fund.
