MAURICE WEBBER, Jr. ORLANDO Maurice T. Webber, Jr., 70, of Orlando, Florida, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at his home, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born December 12, 1937, in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated from Treadwell High School in Memphis. Maurice was the oldest of four sons of his beloved par ents, Bill and Ruth Guy. Maurice served in the Army National Guard and was called to active duty during the Cuban Crisis in the early 1960s. He had a dis tinguished 33 year career with Southern Bell Telephone, AT&T, and Lucent Technology in Florida. Maurice served on the Board of Directors of Insight Financial Credit Union and served as Chairman of the Board for 18 years. He enjoyed representing and serving the members of the Credit Union where many close relationships were formed. Maurice and his wife, Judy, enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. He also was an avid student of Civil War history. Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ruth Guy. He is survived by his wife Judy; his son David; his daugh ter Mauna; and his three broth ers Bill, Gary, and Ron. In addition, Maurice leaves three grandchildren and one great grand daughter. A memorial service will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 East Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida 32806 at 3 p.m., on Saturday, July 19, 2008.
