WARNER -- Dr. Maurice Michaud, 78, died April 16, 2011, at Concord Hospital, Concord.He was born and educated in Nashua. He was the son of Cora (Fluet) and Edgar Michaud. He graduated from Nashua High School, the University of New Hampshire and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Wisconsin during the Korean War.He was a dentist in private practice in Salem for many years. He was a member of the American Dental Association, NH Dental Association and Salem Dental Association. He was a member of the Rising Sun Masonic Lodge in Nashua. He enjoyed going to the gym.Family members include his wife of 57 years, Yolande "Belle" (Belhumeur) Michaud of Warner; two sons, David Michaud of Warner and James Michaud of Dunbarton; two adopted daughters, Maria Maynard of Litchfield and Patricia Bell of Dunstable, Mass.; a brother, Robert Michaud of North Carolina; and a granddaughter.SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem.
