Maudie Louise Simmons <br/> LANDRUM, SC --> Maudie Louise Simmons LANDRUM, SC-- Mrs. Maudie Louise Miller Simmons of 207 Simmons St., Landrum, SC, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014. She was a native of Polk County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Nora Ponder and the widow of the late Walter Simmons, Sr. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Grambling, SC. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: four sons, Walter Simmons, Jr., Jackie Simmons, Leroy Simmons (Sharon) and David Simmons; four daughters, Lucille Simmons, Joyce Nesbitt (Henry Frye), Linda Burn (Robert) and Teresa Simmons. Three grandchildren reared in the home; Mark Simmons, Tawonya Simmons and Tara Simmons; twelve grandkids, fourteen great-grandkids, ten great-great-grandkids and a special niece Victoria McDowell. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Grambling, SC. Burial will be in Mills Chapel Cemetery, Landrum, SC. Cannon & Sons Mortuary Landrum, SC
