Mattie Faye Mann, 85, Cherokee, Ala., died Jan. 3, 2002, at her residence.She was a native of Mississippi and a homemaker. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by a son, Clarence Ray Mann, and a daughter-in-law, Sara Hewlett Mann.Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Miss. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at Deaton Funeral Home chapel, Belmont, Miss., with burial in Belmont City Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. J.B. Burns.She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Faye Wallace, Cherokee, Ala., Norma Gandy and husband, Gary Gandy, Muscle Shoals, Ala.; one son, Jacky Mann and wife, Linda Mann, Tuscumbia, Ala.; daughter-in-law, Amanda Mann, Muscle Shoals, Ala.; three sisters, Pauline Winchester, Red Bay, Ala., Mary Pearl Champion, Tishomingo, Miss., and Estelle Farris of Arizona; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Jeff Mann, Jon Mann, Jason Gandy, Tyler Mann, Barry Wiley and Wayne Mann. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Miss., is directing.
