Moulton<!--Moulton-->Funeral for Mattie Bell Williams, 79, of Moulton will be Sunday, May 25, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marvin Gillespie officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Williams, who died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital, was born Jan. 4, 1929, in Lawrence County to Preston Dotson and Rosa Hutto Dotson. She was a homemaker and an ordained minister. She was a member of East Lawrence Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer Willard Williams; son, Donald Gene Williams; daughter, Faye Allender; and her grandson, Timothy Allender. Survivors include two sons, Jackie Williams and wife, Dorris, and Kenny Williams, both of Moulton; one daughter, Dean White and husband, Allen, of Decatur; one brother, Ricky Dotson of Hillsboro; two sisters, Lee South of Decatur and Diane Rutherford of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Tammy Santos of McMinnville, Tenn., Donna Williams of Moulton, Marie Rodriguez of Decatur, Angela Knight of Hillsboro, Melissa Williams of Cullman, Michael Williams and Jamie Williams, both of Moulton, and Joe Williams of Naples, Fla.; and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Allen White, Mitchell Glover, Stacy Knight, Chris Reese, Manuel Santos and Andy Kelley. Honorary pallbearers will be Mauro Rodriguez and Wade Kelley.
