Mrs. Jackson was born in Ocala, Florida. She was educated in the Marion County Public School System. She was a member of Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church, Zuber, Florida. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star #154 and The Lily White Society. She was a presser for Unifirst. She is survived by daughter Janie Bellamy (Jerome) Ocala, Florida; 6 Step-Children: Nadine Haynes (ALBERT), Gwendolyn Williams (Alfred), Ernest Jackson (Emma) all of Ocala, Florida, Norma Jackson, Hubert Jackson of New York, James Jackson (Beulah) of Georgia; special grandchild: Jo ANN McCants (Alvin) Ocala, Florida; 24 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; 49 great great grandchildren; sister: Wilhmena Brown Morris, Ocala, Florida. Funeral Services for Mrs. Matilda Lee Jackson age 89 will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church 8792 NW 38th Avenue Rd Ocala, FL with the Reverend Alvin D.
