SPARTANBURG, SC-- Maryllyn Duke Anderson, 78, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at White Oak Estates. Born April 28, 1928, in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Mary Funderburke Duke and the wife of the late Callis Jensen Anderson, Sr., M.D. She was a graduate of Winthrop College, a member of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, the Spartanburg County Medical Society Auxiliary, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.Survivors include two sons, Callis J. Anderson, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Spartanburg and Duke L. Anderson and his wife Mona of Elgin; two grandsons, Ross Anderson and Jack Anderson; and two granddaughters, Anna Kate Anderson and Elizabeth Cantrell. She was predeceased by a daughter, Maryllyn K. Cantrell.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2006, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone and Rev. Bill Adams.
