Mary Wright, a native and life long resident of Atlanta and Ormond By The Sea, Florida, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 after a short illenss. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Clifford M. Wright, Jr.; her son, Clifford Randolph Wright; and two grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, E. Allen Shiver of Marietta, GA; and two daughters, Marilyn Wright Counts (Mrs. George B.) of Atlanta, and Suzanne Wright Tharpe of Macon. Mrs. Wright also is survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a large extended family. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 11 o'clock in the morning at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta officiated by Bishop Bevel Jones.
