Williams, 82, of Greenville, widow of Deacon Bob Williams, died peaceably on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.Born in Lima, OH, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Stelbasky.Mrs. Williams was both loving mother and world adventurer. Following graduation from the College of William and Mary she worked with the U.S. Navy Underwater Research Program of Norfolk, VA, and then the U.S. Air Force in New York City and Casablanca, Morocco. Most recently she was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she served as the pastor's personal secretary and church office manager for 34 years.Surviving are four children, Michael Williams, Theresa Williams and husband, James Estes, Peter Williams and wife, Sharon, and Christopher Williams and wife, Sherry; and grandchildren, Matthew, Monica, David, Kathryn and Lisa.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Roy Stelbasky.A Vigil service will be held Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 10, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
