<!-- FH = Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel --><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Mary EttaNutt WilliamsNovember 18, 1918-June 23, 2013Mary Etta Nutt Williams passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 to be with her Lord and loving family. She was the epitome of a true Southern lady and will never be forgotten. She will forever be in our hearts. She was born November 18, 1918 in Vienna, GA. The family moved to Sneads, FL during the early 1920s, and she graduated from Sneads High School in early spring of 1937. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee until her move to Pensacola in 1938. While working as a waitress, she met her future husband. She married Allen C. Williams, Sr. March 19, 1941 and worked as an accounting clerk at NAS Pensacola for a period of time. Mr. and Mrs. Williams soon after became the proprietors of Allen C. Williams Seafood Company, Inc. They were active members over the years with the Elks Lodge, Garden Club, and Hadji Masonic Temple. They were married one week short of 68 years until his passing in March 2009.She is preceded in death by her parents, Jeremiah and Annie Laura Nutt and siblings, Bessie McDaniel, Buford Nutt, Elizabeth Bush, Lois Douglas and Darlene Nutt.Surviving family members include her daughter, Mary Alana Holden of Pensacola; son, Allen "Bud" C. Williams, Jr. (Deenie) of Pensacola; granddaughters, Candyce Holden and Laura Holley (Patrick) both of Pensacola; grandsons, Allen Corbitt Williams, III of New York, NY and Daniel Williams of Pensacola; great-grandchildren, Alanah Megan Holley and Aubrey Allen Ryan Holley of Pensacola; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lucy and John Haner of Pensacola; sister-in-law, Sue Williams of Pensacola; sister-in-law, Maxine Williams of York, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held 5-7 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola 32504.Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Mission Anglican Church 609 N. Alcaniz St., Pensacola 32501 with Father Ron Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Roberts Cemetery on Creighton Road. Active pallbearers will be Jack Henderson, Rick Hess, Jonathon LaBorde, Wendall Rich, Joe Schiller, Daniel Holden, and Terry Pape.The family would like to extend gratitude and appreciation to the nursing staff at the Haven for the excellent care and supervision of Mrs. Williams over the past two years.Special thanks and appreciation extends to Father Ron and Lisa Browning for all the support, love, and beautiful music that meant so much to Miss Mary.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions and donations may be made to Mission Anglican Church.Express your condolences in our guestbook at pnj.com/obits
