MARY LOIS WILLIAMS1924-2007Mary "Lois" Williams was born in Selma, AL to Jimmie Myrtle and G.B. Porter on March 30, 1924. She passed away at home on May 10, 2007 after a battle with cancer. She resided in the Myrtle Grove area of Pensacola for 20 years prior to moving to Santa Rosa County. She worked as a bookkeeper and resided in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, FL as well as Selma, AL. Lois was a member of the First Baptist Church of Milton, FL.Lois Williams was survived by her son; Robert G. Williams, Jr. and wife Edwinna of Milton, her son-in-law; George Roth, of Dubach, LA and her granddaughters; Amanda Roth, Heather Williams, Tamberlynn W. Baker and her husband Kelly Baker, her grandson; Robby Williams and his wife Natasha Williams, her great-grandchildren; Abby and Alex Baker and many cousins and friends. Lois was preceded in death by her parents Jimmie and G.B. Porter, her daughter; Barbara Lois Williams-Roth and her sister; Edith Porter. There will be a grave site service at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, AL. In lieu of flowers the family requests that children's books be donated to your local elementary school library. The family would like to thank Dr. Pyle, Dr. Schang, Dr. Mian and Dr. Smith along with the caring nurses of Covenant Hospice of Santa Rosa for their support.
