LOROFF, Mary 2009-03-24 Mrs. Mary "Ada" Loroff, age 66 years, passed away peacefully in hospital with her family by her side on Sunday, March 22, 2009. Ada was born on August 6, 1942 in Fort William. She was raised there and has lived in the area her entire life. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing hand held games and going to Grand Portage Casino with her friend Gail McEachern. She loved her granddaughters and spending time with them was very important to her. Ada is survived by her son Wesley Loroff; daughter Loretta Ristola (Patrick Mahoney); granddaughters Kirsten Ristola and Courtney Mahoney and brother Harvey (Betty) Wright. Many other relatives also survive. She is predeceased by her husband Clifford (1983); son Stephen (1972) and her parents Charles and Joyce Wright. Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mary "Ada" Loroff will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 26, 2009 in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore St. at James with Fr. Dan Lapolla of St. Dominic‚s R.C. Church officiating. Interment will follow in Mountainview Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
